Liverpool to scout Celtic-Rangers derby for players

Celtic supporters took to Twitter to express their disappointment with the performance of Scott Sinclair in their 1-1 draw with Rangers.

A late Clint Hill equaliser helped the Gers become only the second team to take points off the champions this season.

Celtic had dropped points just once in the Scottish Premiership prior to the match and were on course to maintain that record thanks to Stuart Armstrong's goal in the 35th minute.

"The lads know what people have been saying about them so I said that they needed to take a full part in this game and that they can make a real good statement about where they can go from here and they did that today".

Comanche County Emergency Manager John Lehman says the ground is "extremely dry", so it's possible the fire could re-ignite. Hutchinson Fire Chief Doug Hanen said crews would continue to work on hot spots in the area throughout the day on Thursday.

"I felt it was a penalty at the end", Rodgers said after the game.

There was more drama to come with Celtic denied a clear penalty just seconds later as Leigh Griffiths was brought down in the box.

In my view, Dembele - like Jamie Vardy - is a realistic, viable, obtainable target, and with Brendan Rodgers in charge at Celtic, Liverpool should (in theory) have a slight advantage over other teams.

"It says a lot about our season so far and how well we have been doing that coming away with a draw feels like a loss", Armstrong told BBC Radio Scotland. And I thought without two outstanding saves from Craig Gordon they could have had more. We tried to keep our composure but the pitch is a bit bobbly at the moment and it is not how we want to play.

"We need your support, we are counting on you. But there was work rate, determination and we showed what a great set of lads we've got".

'These types of games are always tense and hard games to play in.
