Sunny, warm weather through the end of the week

Posted May 13, 2017

The winds will be blowing out of the north for Saturday keeping the humidity lower.

We'll see a mix of sun and clouds today as a high pressure begins to move out of the area and highs are seasonable in the low 70s. If this was winter you'd be hearing forecasts ranging from 6-10 inches of snow up to 2 feet or more.

We'll continue to see thunderstorms throughout the afternoon/evening. Expect high temperatures in the lower 80s with muggy conditions. Gusts of 25mph are expected inland, and 30-35mph along the Jersey Shore. On Saturday, despite that partly sunny start, clouds then eventually showers take over. High temperatures on Saturday will only reach the mid 50s and with a breeze at times, it's going to be a pretty raw day. Also expect wind gusts of up to 25 miles per hour.
