North Korea accused of breaching South Korean border

South Korea fired about 90 warning shots at an unidentifiable object flew across the demilitarized zone from North Korea.

Unidentified objects which flew across the border from the North were probably propaganda balloons, South Korea's military said Wednesday. In its latest effort to develop its ballistic and nuclear weapons, North Korea fired a medium-range missile Sunday that appeared to be similar to one the country tested earlier this year, USA and South Korean officials said. Pyongyang said it launched an intermediate-range ballistic missile which met all technical requirements and could now be mass-produced, although United States officials questioned the extent of its progress.

The Security Council first imposed sanctions on Pyongyang in 2006 and ratcheted up the measures in response to five nuclear tests and two long-range missile launches.

He added that a United States of America trade deal with China, North Korea's closest ally, would "be far better for them if they solve the North Korean problem!"
