So much so, that his healthy diet plan has now been regulated by the BCCI and the Indian cricket team. Mallya's presence forced the Indian team to leave early in order to avoid any controversy.

A BCCI source present at the event confirmed that Kohli and the Indian team were "uncomfortable" due to Mallya's presence. The source said, "Look, Virat or his foundation never invited Mallya at the function. And nearly everyone, except our captain who was host of the event, left the scene", a senior BCCI official told DNA.

However, Mallya appears to be unperturbed by the criticism over his presence and vowed to attend all the remaining India matches against Sri Lanka on June 8 (Thursday) and South Africa on June 11 (Sunday). The players were very uncomfortable.

India has raised the matter of extradition of Mallya several times with United Kingdom, and although he had been arrested in London once, the extradition did not materialise and he was released. But no way, the man has to high profile himself and embarrass the team players who now have to spend the rest of a special evening ducking him and, in the avoidance, ruining their fun.
