Lamborghini's luxury Android phone is definitely not worth $2450

The smartphone called "Alpha One Premium Package" comes exclusively in the regal black color, has an Italian leather phone case, and costs a whopping $2,450!

Luxury car-maker Lamborghini has launched an Android-powered smartphone in the market.

If you're paying around three times the price of today's flagships, you would expect the Alpha-One to have some impressive hardware.

From launch, the M5 is set to be offered in special First Edition guise, which will be limited to 400 units globally. BMW M engineers have also added a new carbon fiber reinforced plastic roof to cut weight even further on the new M5.

Supercar brand Lamborghini has now come out with its latest offering that shares an important feature with all its other sportscars- you can't afford it. In the United Kingdom, the phone is being sold at Harrods while in the UAE, it can be purchased in multiple retailers, including the Levant luxury boutique in the Dubai Mall.

Alpha One is built from handcrafted Italian leather, and uses liquid alloy for protection against scratches and dents.

In terms of specifications, the Alpha One would houses an outdated Snapdragon 820 SoC with Adreno 530 GPU, and would be powered by a 3,250mAh battery.

There is 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can have further expanded up to 128GB via a MicroSD card slot. The onboard version of Android is 7.0 Nougat, atop which sits a customised software.
