WWE Provides Storyline Update On Vince McMahon

Shane would be facing Owens in a Hell in a Cell match.

Kevin Owens opened with a promo to what he was calling "The Kevin Owens Show", inviting Vince McMahon to the ring. Vince did tell something to Kevin off the mic second before Owens made his move. It's a great line for an obnoxious heel such as Owens, but the September 12 episode of "SmackDown Live" truly was "The Kevin Owens Show" in my opinion. That was the case once more on SmackDown, because Owens looked every bit the ruthless dirtbag heel as he first heat butted McMahon, before hitting the boss with a Frog Splash from the top rope. The meeting notably ended with Owens assaulting McMahon and leaving him a bloody mess. I just hope the powers that be in WWE realize the only result that makes sense is Owens winning.

US Olympic Cities Signal Support for LA 2028
The joint marketing agreement had to be reworked when Los Angeles agreed to host the 2028 Games, with Paris staging the 2024 Olympics.

Owens would respond by threatening to sue Shane and the entire WWE for the incident and this would lead to Daniel Bryan getting a phone call from WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon, who would suspend his son Shane indefinitely. Even further, Owens now has a match with Shane Mcmahon in a month. The announcement also preceded a savage beat down on McMahon by Owens, one which was created to fan the flames of animosity between he and Shane. This would never have occurred on my show, under my watch.

As noted, Owens destroyed Vince after the WWE Chairman re-instated Commissioner Shane McMahon and announced Owens vs. Shane for the Cell at the October 8th WWE Hell In a Cell pay-per-view.

WrestleMania is almost seven months away, however.
