Air France flight with engine damage makes emergency landing in Canada

The Air France flight diverted to Goose Bay airport, where there is also a Canadian Forces Base, according to the airline.

The airline said it is working to reroute the passengers to Los Angeles.

An Air France plane en route to Los Angeles from Paris made an emergency landing Saturday in Goose Bay, N.L., after one of its engines blew out over the Atlantic Ocean. Passengers on board uploaded stomach-turning images of the destroyed engine to Twitter.
