He begins in the role tomorrow.
Dickerson will join CBS This Morning as the network continues to recover from Rose's downfall, after the Washington Post and other outlets reported allegations of years of sexual misconduct by Rose against dozens of women in November. He was also fired from PBS as a result. King and O'Donnell announced the anchor's termination from the network on November 21.
Dickerson will begin Wednesday, and will relocate to be in NY full-time.

The network has largely been mum on the succession process, and some in the industry suggested that the show go without a third co-anchor.
Dickerson is one of the most respected journalists in the business today, equally adept at driving the news cycle through probing interviews with world leaders as he is having thoughtful conversations with people around the country on issues that matter the most to them.

"This is a new beginning with an old friend", O'Donnell said. Rose has largely not been heard from since his much-publicized downfall. On Jan. 2, NBC announced live on the air that Today veteran Hoda Kotb would officially join Savannah Guthrie at the show's anchor desk.
Virginia native Dickerson, 49 - son of pioneering newswoman Nancy Dickerson - was a correspondent for Time and Slate before joining CBS in 2009 as an analyst before becoming political director.
