Canada brings home first gold in figure skating team event in PyeongChang

PyeongChang 2018Canada took gold in the team figure skating event at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games after brilliant performances by Patrick Chan and Gabrielle Daleman.

Although ice dancers Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir had yet to skate, Daleman's performance guaranteed Canada the top spot.

The Olympic Athletes from Russia (OAR) secured the silver medal after Alina Zagitova put in an incredible performance to win gold in the women's free skate event.

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir performed an eyebrow-raising lift during their original routine, during which Scott's face got suspiciously close to Tessa's nether region.
