Charlize Theron's mum bought her edible marijuana to help sleep issues

During an appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', Charlize said: "I'm always wiling to try anything".

Little did she know, her mom was about to be more than proactive. "I have really bad sleep [patterns] and so does my mom".

They agreed on trying marijuana, but needless to say, Theron did not expect her mother to be the one to seek out the herbal alternative, which is now legal in California.
