Severe weather threat for Golden Triangle Tuesday

Posted April 04, 2018

A cold front will move across Clarksville-Montgomery County Tuesday bringing with it a chance for severe storms and high winds.

Our main threat with this system will be severe wind gusts of 60 miles per hour or stronger, however isolated low-end spin-up tornadoes are possible as well as some large hail.

Damaging wind gusts and brief, line-embedded tornadoes will be our primary concerns starting in the early afternoon across the western half of the area.
