Rape cases: Congress to hold candlelight march across Delhi

Under fire from opponents and protests from Jammu & Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti, BJP on Friday secured the resignations of two of its ministers, Lal Singh and Chandar Prakash Ganga, from the coalition government for participating in protests in favour of the accused in the Kathua gang rape and murder case. Crime branch was handed over the matter and 6-7 people were arrested.

In Uttar Pradesh, the CBI arrested BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, accused of raping the 17-year-old Unnao girl, hours after the Allahabad High Court ordered his immediate arrest saying he was influencing the "law and order machinery".

She also said that women and children have no religion and no politics should be done over such issues. She said the woman had not named party MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar in her initial complaint before the magistrate. "And when the jail authorities sent him for a medical check-up, the CMO gave a wrong report that he was fit to be kept in jail", she said. Earlier the party had taken the position that the two ministers were misled by the people to join the pro-rape protesters. They had threatened a serious consequences and publcluy talked about jungle Raj opf the Kashmir police.

School Bus Plunges From Mountain in India 2-3 Kids
