Charlotte Rae, Mrs. Garrett on 'Diff'rent Strokes', dies at 92

Reports have revealed on Sunday that Facts Of Life and Diff'rent Strokes star Charlotte Rae has past away.

Born Charlotte Rae Lubotsky in Milwaukee on 22 April 1926, Rae studied drama at Northwestern University before moving to NY where she found work doing satirical sketches in Greenwich Village clubs. The actress had previously been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Her accolades include a TV Land Award and Looking Ahead Award; she was also nominated for two Tony awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards between 1966 and 1982. "I have this decision to make".
